My new toy... SAFC II

Yea, so i just bought the SAFC II offa ebay. Can't wait to put it in. Question is, are there any wiring harnesses for sale online that would make it cleaner?

Also, I planned on re-grounding everything while I was at it. I remember seeing a thread on here not too long ago, but search turns up a ton of stuff. Anyone have a link right to it? Or am I searching for the wrong words?

Also, does anyone sell any kind of mounting plastic for it? So I can put it underneath my radio? Thanks.

P.S. I have read the fc3s.org howto.... are there any others?

AFAIK there aren't any harnesses other than Apex'i ones. Check the archives for the grounding thread.

1300cc.com has a writeup, the instructions should be plenty usefull too.

I installed a SAFC-II recently. I'd suggest soldering it in and using the pressure sensor for the throttle input. Get in touch with me if you have any specific questions, I have a very similar FC.

I think rx7.com has a custom harness for the SAFC II. Plug and play with the wiring harness...

Here's a link to that harness http://rx7.com/store/rx7/fcecu.html#apex

Not worth what they are asking IMO.

I was just about to ask that. What is the main difference between preasure sensor and the throttle? Throttle not as reliable? And, could i take a tps off a S5 and hook it in? Thanks for helpin' guys.

Yea. The thing from Rx7.com is way too much. it is almost as much as i spent on the unit. Thanks for the link though.

Any idea how to mount it in the spot below the stereo and make it look clean? The thing that is there now looks like something that is used to put stuff in. Like a little void area. I was wondering if there are any plastic things use for stereos that I could adapt to it. Thanks again.
