My new t2

So i just picked up my new t2 (im not new to rx7s, just new to turbo 7s) anyway long story short the front passenger side had damaged A arm, and fucked up steering rack. it pulled right really hard whenever you'd be driving. anyway replaced almost all the passenger suspension bits including the steering rack, now its still pulling to the right but not nearly as hard... i know it needs an alignment now that i took all that **** apart but... is there anyway for me to do this?

Here are some pics:

Actually, your best bet is to take it to a shop.

If you must align it yourself, you can get toe pretty close with a tape measure between the front and rear of the tires (to somewhere consistant in the tread pattern)

You can get the camber reasonably close with a level on the tire and comparing it to the other side (parked on a level surface).

You can take the wheel off and measure the caster from a level held plumb against the bottom of the shock, but the car must be level and you have very little adjustment on this one (rotating the top mount on the shock).

Basically, I would take it to a shop, it will probably only cost you 60-80 dollars.

Edit: I almost forgot... Congratulations on the purchase of a TII.

A decent alignment job should run you 50-60$. I would just take it to a shop.

Also assuming the tires are worn by the alignment you may still have a pull to one side after the alignment gets taken care of. Only way to fix that is with new tires.

Congrats on the TII.

sweet thanks for the advice, yeah the tires are very worn so that might be an issue aswell... ive also ran into a few little issues, when i was putting in the steering rack i saw that there were two wires at the bottom of the radiator that were broken off a little sensor, anyone know what it is?

PIC

I dont know what its for but the temp gauge in the car seems to work so... who knows

Oh also, can some one take a reference picture of how the power steering hoses hook up? the car didnt come with it so i didnt get a chance to take it apart :-\

Congrats on the new car! I don't often hear about people doing their own alignment, I would take it to a shop, as it's not really that expensive, and it'll be fairly quick. But, to each his own. If the tires are really worn out, new tires would be a nice addition to the car. Really worn tires are trouble waiting to happen.

Heh, I see your cruise control is pushed in and your center console plastic thing is missing. Reminds me of my car .

Anyway, good luck with it.

I could be wrong but that sensor at the bottom of the radiator is for the ecu i believe. My dads T2 had it unplugged and it still ran ok but I think it helps with the fuel mixture. Correct me if I am wrong.

I don't know about the fan... I don't think there's another one...

If you figure out how to secure the cruise without a liberal application of glue, let me know .

I paid 1k for it, it wasn't starting or running and its a salvage tittle, but now it runs and starts, and just needs an alignment to run straight, so i did alright, it runs fine idles like a dream, runs nice and cool (considering im in Arizona that's a ******* miracle)

Wow, I thought I had the only Arctic Silver TII on these forums. Great to see another! And thanks for saving it! Another 7 will live.

Did you buy it with those wheels on? What are the specs?
