my new engine and clean engine bay
Ive had this 87 turbo for a while. I bought it blown up and never have had time to rebuild it. The interior is perfect mint, factory 87 CD player and door speakers, gray cloth. The exterior is a 90% with a couple of odoor dings and the trim missing on one side, not for long.

I got a good t2 motor in trade for a car, so I decided to throw it in until I have time to rebuild the other the way I want. I cleaned it all up nice, as well as the engine bay.

Well I got it in and it runs. Has that classic, unadjusted t2 idle. 1200, vrooom, 1800...buuuur, 1200, vroooom, 1800, buuuur, vrooom, buuur, vroom, buuur, :-)
Im a bit concerned about the water seals in the engine. I wonder how long it sat dry. It never got full of coolant and I kept getting bubbles. I looked around and suddenly saw oil coming form an oil cooler line so I shut down, and only about 1/2qt leaked out and I put in 6 qt. so Id have extra, so I know it didnt hurt anything. Ill continue to fool with it tomorrow. RXSPD< any more info on this engine of mine?
RXSPD I checked on your title today, went down there and stayed for about 30 minutes. She searched and didnt have it on hand. SO its either a) at her dad's car dealership across the street b) at teh auction place they got it from or c) at the dealer the auction got it from. She is gonna call around and get it asap. I asked her worse case scenario, if they couldnt find it, a lost title could be obtained and she said yes. I asked how long and she said 2 or 3 days, so if they dont find it by the weekend Ill ask her to go that route. Just be calm, we'll get it taken care of man. She said she wont be in tomorrow something about a doctor appt., then a car auction every thursday afternoon, so to call her back Friday morning and see if its been found yet. Sorry I didnt get your call today I was downstairs working and I dont like to work with my cell on me for fear of breakage/wetting.
