My new best friend :)

Well I guess if you want it bad enough then you will get it. Ever since I saw the bnr upgrades I've wanted the stage III and finally got it thanks to sonicrat! Anyways I'm planning on taking my 720cc secondaries and putting them in the primary location and putting the 890's i've got on order and sticking them in the secondaries. Is it stupid to run this turbo off of a piggy back and an rtek 1.7 that is retarding timing? Anyways here is a few shots. I think I might sleep with it tonight

edit: what kind of fitting do I need to put in the housing for the boost controller?

The safc can control it just fine. Is the hole in the compressor housing tapped? You will want to put some sort or threaded brass barb on there, you can find them at your local hardware store.

thanks guys for the info and the props! the turbo is usually 799 plus you send in your core and brian rebuilds it witch I know why he charges that much now, very good craftmanship on this turbo as you can see the wastegate has a huge port done very profesionally as well as nicely clipped backside. The housing and compressor wheel are very nice with of course no shaft play. So any fitting will work huh? I guess I will just have to measure the hole and get something a little smaller for it then. One day I will have enough for a avc-r but for now it is going to have to be a mbc controlling this bad boy

Slap it in, keep the boost low and drive off to the dyno...you'll need to play around with the SAFC for a while w/ the new injectors running off that rtek7 1.7 ECU.

Oh, forgot that turbo didn't have a barb. I think it's 1/4npt, can't remember exactly tho, it's either that or 1/8, but i think 1/8 is too small for that.

I get it for the same price everyone else does, I just had it laying around. It's a BNR stage 3, check out the rx7store.net for pricing. They'll bolt to stock manifolds, and good for ~350+hp at 15psi

That exact turbo used to be mine. Put down some good numbers with it and post it up. So far it's been in the hands of 3 people who haven't put it to use yet. I hope you're not the 4th.

oh it's going in this weekend for sure and then with the new injectors it will be on the road but I need to get a wideband first because the only dyno in town that could tune closed down about 3 months ago I can't wait to feel this turbo!!! Yeah n/a is good and all I guess but nothing like forced induction!
