My new 86 Sport
Hey guys! I just got a 86 sport from a friend of mine for a blown Honda civic! Anyway the engine is toast (He overheated it coming back from sac) but I'm looking for somewhere to get a rebuild done (if possible) The car only has 76k original miles on it! I'll try and post pics soon...there is a little body damage (guy hit a dear >.<) in the front and some in the back as well. If anyone knows of anywhere i can get a rebuild done relatively close that would be awesome. Also, how much do the usually cost? Thanks everyone for checking my thread out.
Pics soon!

I would love to do it myself but I really don't trust myself yet. Nor do i have the space or the tools. I will try to get ahold of Junpower then. Thanks guys! I just went out to clean it up a bit. It needs some tlc but im sure in a few months she'll be looking pretty good. I have 700 plus a month to blow so...

i guess it's an even trade. Dead car for better dead car.
Clearlake might be too far from JUNPOWER (Unless he tows it to him) but he and Karack are good.
If you're north of SAC then Karack
If you're south of SAC then Junpower

So your saying you want to tow the car and have someone else rebuild it? If you had the space - the money you would spend on labor would buy you the tools. + you could add small upgrades on while your there like a new clutch

Clearlake is north of sac. Its a small town full of tweakers and idiots. I guess i should get ahold of Karack.
I asked a friend who has the tools and garage space to do it but there in the middle of building 3 cars right now...sooooo thats a no go. theres another buddy i have who might be able to help me...i would love to try and do it myself...but i have a feeling i might end up scowing craigslist for motor.
