I don't know if this is a joke but if it isn't PLEASE give us a write up. I've been wanting to do this for a while but I just haven't had the time. I'll have time this summer and that is exactly the kind of setup I'd like to be running. Everyone has been telling me it'll be trouble but it's because everyone who has trouble tries to run high boost and I don't want that, this sounds like exactly what I've been trying to do. Let me know how it goes.
EDIT: I AM a little skeptical from those pictures though, what kind of piping do you have to get it into the TB?

cool beans dude, but the outlet piping is way small... same goes for the inlet.. you could see a decrease in power loss if you increase both inlet and outlet piping diameter.
its taking a lot of power to move that much air through a soda straw...

dont know much about a sc but dont you need oil lines to feed into the sc? cause correct me if i'm wrong isnt there a turbine of some sort inside the sc to make it forced induction?

I heard somewhere that pre-mix fuel will extend it's life. (something to think about)

Sureshot, why would premix extend it's life? I don't understand that one since the oil is injected further down the air stream.
Zbrown, I'm asuming you mean, when you say you piped it like a turbo that you have the AFM in the original place and the same curve under pipe that the turbo has, but from that picture it looks to me like the pipe would be sticking out the charger right into the wall. Can you get us some better pics?

its a great idea, but in my opinion, its a waist of space. cyntrifigal would be the way to go. its lighter, smaller, and easier to mount where it needs to be...on the right side of the motor. they also last longer than roots type superchargers. its got the cool side of a turbo and a small gear box where the hot side would be.

Ummm... the cintrifugal doesn't hit full boost till MUCH later in the range, and if you don't want high boost, this seems like a better choice, moderate boost through the whole RPM range. If you're going for higher boost I'd say yes, but this would seem like a better choice for this application.

Wow guys thanks for all of the complements, Also that is some funny crap about it being an April fools joke, but this is the real deal. Now before you look at these pictures i have 1 stipulation
1. I dont want to hear any **** about my awesome idler, or my kick *** hose clamps, i have a new idler and some more nice t-bolt clamps on the way.
I picked the roots type because i wanted instant boost and more power down low, and trust me i got what i wanted, Not to mention that i still have the 3.90 rear end form the 5speed swap that doesnt help matters. Everybody has their own opinion but this is what i wanted to do.
I wanted to use 2.5" piping for the s/c suction but the 2" pipe was a perfect fit for the intake port of the s/c(2.5" was to big) All i had to do was squeeze the pipe with a vice slightly and it was perfect, i think that 2" has enough flow anyway
As you can see in the pics i dont have my blowoff valve on yet, it is on its way. I am planning on putting it opposite of the bypass valve on the pipe between the s/c and the throttle body. I need the blowoff valve because at high rpm shifts the bypass valve cant vent the pressurized air fast enough and i have slight belt slippage. With the blow off valve it will blow off only at the high rpm shifts . Do you all understand what i am saying?
Study hall is about over so i am going to start posting pics, Ill write more tonight after school. Keep the comments and questions coming, Any ideas for making it better
