is my motor dying

I'm losing coolant

I don't know what is going on though if it is just leaking somewhere or if I am eating it

just a few days ago I noticed that the car was running warmer and so I went to check the overflow and it was empty :-( put some more in the system then started the car with the rad cap off... it was all the way to the top befoer I s tarted it... then it kind astarted to run over the sides....

at an idle though it would stay right where it is supposed to so I'm not sure what is going on

not sure how to tell other then replace every single hose I have

right now the car is not smoking at all unless I rev up to 7000rpms with some 2stroke in the gas

Pressure test the cooling sytem. Easiest way to tell where it's going. Either it will leak externally, or leak into the engine, causing huge plumes of steam when you start it.

You can either buy a pressure tester ($40) or have a mechanic do it (don't know how $). Better to buy your own tester so you can test for a long time...

yeah you coudl get some ultra violet reactive dye and put int eh system and then run the engine long enough for the system to pressurize

then shine a black light over the engine at night or in a dark place and you will see the dye if it is leaking out. but then again that is mroe money

well I took the rad cap off today and it looks like I am getting a little bit of bubbles in the coolant... not major huge ones but still a few
