is my motor blown?
well i just finished my new turbo setup and microtech and i started the car and it runs ok considering there is no tune yet...it idles rough but seems to smooth out when you give it more throttle but its been flooding out on me so today it wouldnt start so i took the plugs out and just figured id crank the motor without the plug in and on the front rotor i heard 3 loud puffs from the compression and in the rear ther was hardly anything i tried to run a comp. test but my tester wasnt working so i put the plugs back in and it started for me and runs half decent...could the rear rotor be blown? when i parked it to do the new install it ran pefect and the motor only has like 10,000 miles on the rebuild and there is no way it could have blown from just starting it.. it is supposed to have a base map to be able to start the motor then go get a tune right? i just cant see what could have happend...any ideas? im suposed to go to get this tuned on the 28th.... im so upset right now i just wanna push this car off a cliff!!!

The 13B will run on one rotor as long as the other rotor is not damaged in such a way as to add a lot of drag.
I'd start with the ATF trick on the rear & see if the seals are stuck.
Then pull the manifolds & do a visual inspection through the exhaust port.
Good luck..

i was gonna try the ATF thing but is it possible for all three of the seals to be stuck? i would think that only the seals that where in the compressed state when it sat would be stuck but thats just what i thought i dont know if that is true

the microtech base maps are not a good basis for idling or driving, in your microtech manual there is procedures for setting up the idle and off idle mixture maps to clean it up, the base maps are a bit on the rich side for most setups but it mainly depends on which injectors you are using but you will need to make adjustments for it to idle smooth and drive half way decent.
