my luck! staring fc3s

i have 1987 t2 fc3s. just put s5 t2 j-spec engine. took oil pump of the s4 replaced front clip took of ac power steering ect. and added s4 injectors cause my s5 injectors would not hook up to s4 harness just put the aftermarket downpipe on and tried to start it. nothing? checked fuel pump switched around fuel line, tried the timing and nothing it sound like it's just spining but will not attemp to run. can someone help me please . we thought it might have been siting 4 a while so we added trany oil to help the seals added new spark plugs still won't start please someone help oh and also i ahve a 1988 t2 with bad front rotor compression for sale if anyone intrested thanx.
p.s also checked fuel pump any other ideas please? can i run s4 injectors on s5 j-spec? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

did you swap fuel lines??? Jspecs have the input and output fuel lines backwards to US spec

thank you guys. i didn't know that fuel lines r backwards will check and today i bought compession gauge at sears so does anyone know what plugs i need to do test on and what r bad or good test results. better yet can anyone walk me thru it briffly on how. thank fellas

spark plugs, brand NGK:

leadings: BUR7EQ
trailings: BUR9EQ

just put a known good plug in one plug wire and ground the plug out on the engine or body and crank the engine while observing the plug, repeat for each plug wire to be sure they are all getting spark.

yes the fuel rails feed opposite on the JDM rats nest but as i remember the fuel line positioning at the inlet/outlet is the same as the USpec engines(they just crossover on the JDM rasts nest before the rails iirc).

thax that help. but how do i do compression test? u hook up compression gauge to spark plugs? what ones? i know bettery has to be charged good and that' s it also what r good and bad results on cold engine test thanx once again
