My last Wheel/Tire question ever

Ok, I am in the process of ordering the wheels that I want. The sizes I can get are 17x7.5, +35 or +43 offset. What offset will be best for front and rear, and can I still run 225 in the front, 245 in the back? What profile should I run in the back with 245's?

Sorry, I've just been going back and forth between different options with this, and I'm finally down to ordering one. Any quick info would be appreciated. thanks guys

not sure about the offset, but i would go with a 40 series tires front and back and the sizes you already have listed 225 and 245..

The 35s should fit fine all around, and yes you can fit a 245 on a 7.5" wide wheel.

Here would be my recommendations for tire sizes also:

Front: 225/45r17
Rear: 245/40r17

The rears are about the exact diamter as stock 105/60r15s, and the fronts would be only slightly shorter.

nonononono. No 245/40/17 in the back. 245/45/17 is the limit on 7.5 inch rims... with 245/40/17, you will affect handling and plus the tire won't fit the rim right.

Those websites doesn't really tell you much. I know for sure that 17X7.5 35mm will work for sure because I'm running 17X7.5 40mm without an issue. I'm running 225/45/17 all around at the moment, soon to go 245/45/17 in the back.

Yikes! Unsprung and rotating weight out the ears!

Just joking. I'm jealous of the grip and responsivenes you'll get with those wheels / tires.

I'm about to try an experiment with 15x6.5 vert wheels and 225/50/15 Yoko A0800R tires vs. my old 16x7.5 300zx wheels with 225/50/16 BFG Comp TA's. The Vert rims / tires are about 10 pounds lighter _each_ compared to the 16's! Only the autocross times will tell if I'm better off with smaller diameter and a lot less rotational moment of inertia.
