My last hope.

Ok, about 4 months ago i bought a 89 rx-7 turbo for an good amount of money thinking and seeing it was all good. Then about a week later the SUPPOSED rebuilt engine with 1k miles on it starts burning oil, leaking coolant and oil. Since there really is no lemon law in NY you can say i was screwed.

So now to make matters worse, all the mechanics tell me they dont know exactly whats going on, and to find out its gunna cost me. (Which the outcome is they dont fix it but im out 100 - 300 bucks for them ripping apart my engine.)

Well before i just go and buy and new engine, i hope someone can give me some help.

The car itself starts with the help of jumping it and priming the s--t outta it.
Once its warmed up it idles fine but open the hood and you can see smoke coming straight from the bottom of the block and some coolant leakage somewhere below the water pump sitting on the engine. When driving it seems the car has no power at all, and it sometimes struggles to get up hills. It also will only smoke if i rev past 3000 rpm and drop the clutch where it will let out a literal "Smoke Screen"
When i stop i have to keep it reved or it will stall out.
Check engine light comes on during extended driving.
Oil and Coolant under engine when parked.
Computer diag: Malfunctioned thermal sensor and Oxy sensor

This is a bit Jumbled, but if it could help me if someone gave me some advice.

what color is the smoke? what does it smell like? oil/coolant/both?

sounds like you need a rebuild. find a competent shop in your area that is familiar with rebuilding rotary engines. get a price from them, and then compare it to the price of having a used/new/reman motor put in.
also, if you feel comfortable, you can order parts and rebuild the motor yourself(atkins rotary has a very helpful video)
good luck!

Edit: this sounds scarily similar to what happened after i bought my car...i ended up opting for a factory reman, as it was the cheapest/fastest option at the time.

at least do a compressiosn test to see if the rotors are sealing. but it doesnt sound like they are. sounds like you have bad o-rings and side seals at the least. is the coolant leaking fromthe side of the block? if it is, you may have bad coolant seals as well. either that or whoever rebuilt the engine didnt replace the seals or apply sealer in the proper locations, or at all.

its possible yoru car is dumping fuel because of a bad O2 sensor. and it may also be running shitty cuz of a bad coolant temp sensor and thinking its always cold, so its always in open loop and in warm-up mode.

try to at least fix the o2 and thermo sensor codes first. then do a compression test. tell us how it goes

One mechanic said the turbo was fine, but there was low compression.
Another told me that it was burning both oil and coolant.
Although there is no coolant on the dipstick, nor does the smoke smell sweet. Also to note, the car back is super dirty from the smoke an leaves a wet residue on the exaust.

Smoke color is grey

Yeh my friend also was thinking the same thing, the car itself EATS fuel and the exhaust seems damp with fuel.

What gets me though, it doesnt smoke when it idles, yet it smokescreens when i dump the clutch at high rpm. It doesnt smoke at all if i slowly let off clutch.

Another note, it idles irregularly till it starts smoking directly from engine then its seems to be fine, although its not since the smoke gets in my cabin.

Also, is it bad when the car iteself smells of coolant inside, and i get really bad headaches after i drive it !!

damn dude. do ao compression test. check the turbo. the turbo being broked could mean its spewing coolent and or oil into your exhaust. also check the tps, and oxygen sensor.
