What does the oil thermo sensor do? It's function and purpose?

Is all American spec 2nd gen oil pans compitable?

Doint worry about that dude. IT only is there for the north american cars that had the sub zero start assist bottle that we all know is useless. IT doesnt even need to be there or hooked up on aspec cars. Just go on with your life, there are more important things to worry about

 

hey what are some other ways to tell if your motor is jspec or not. Because i thought i had an Aspec but i dont have the connector you guys are talking about!

 

if it is a jspec, it will have a hose for the brake booster on the passenger side of the LIM by the firewall...if it is aspec, this hose is over near the TB on the rear bottom of the UIM.
