My idiot lights keep flashing

My idiot lights keep flashing

As the title states, the keep flashing all the time when i am driving. at idol the don't flash but then around 3k-5k rpms they just flash rapidly, all of them. If any one knows why let me know

Faulty wiring/alternator? Try cleaning your battery ground cable at all connecting points as well.

My bet would be fualty solder points behind the panel...there is a writeup on how to resolder them to get everything to work again.

if this is a S4, the alternator is failing

If this is a S5 the alt is failing or you have a bad idiot light cluster with circuits shorted internally

what is the voltage when this is happening (non turbos have a volt meter right on the dash)

well yeah but you say it goes on and off right? some times the rectifier in the alternator doesnt just go all at once. but it could be something else

ya i don't know if it is my alternator, i will pull the idot lights out tomarrow, i just got my alternator rebuilt
