my horn dosnt work!?

my horn dosnt work!?

ok does any one have the horn wiring diagram for a 1987 tII coupe, my plug is just sitting in the engine bay and i dont know were it goes?

The horn should be bolted to that 2" round bar running in front of the radiator. The horn looks like about the size of a Pringles lid. It has one lil male end sticking off of it that you need to slip the plug on to.

no thats the end of the plug i have found, i need the end comming form the steering wheel

I believe there's a HORN fuse?&nbsp You might want to check that first.
The most likely culprit for a non-working horn is bad cold solder joints in the "CPU".

ted is there a fix for that? my horn doesnt work most of the time but there is a rare occasion that it will work like once every 4 months. but when its not working im hear a really light "clicking" when i push the button which makes me think i have a bad connection. any ideas?

Yep, that pretty much confirms it's the CPU that needs soldering.
You need to locate the unit and take it apart.&nbsp Soldering the main pins that connect to the wiring plug harness usually solves the problem 99% of the time.

If you can basic soldering, it's not that bad of a deal.&nbsp You're looking at soldering about 20-24 points at the most.

See attached JPG. Check the GW for 12v. Put a ground on the GO wire thru the back of the connector. Still no horn.....solder. Free schematics available at http://www.iluvmyrx7.com
