i got a tII swap in my na using the na harness the car would only start for about 3 seconds (using the na fuel pump) car would not start when i put the TII fuel pump in... when i pull the fuel lines off of the motor using the na fuel pump gas sprays everywhere but with the tII pump it seems like there is no pressure... but fuel will still come out of the TII fuel pump when i start the car it just seems like the na has alot more pressure. the fuel pump was also given to me so im not sure of its condition. can someone tell me whats going on is it the fuel pump or maybe the injectors? i dunno please help!!

 

the best way to test the fuel pump is putting a jumper on the little yellow plug on the passenger side shock tower. and then i would guess put a gauge on the feeding fuel line to check how much pressure youre getting. then put the ignition switch to on.

 

too bad i dont have a pressure guage... shouldnt the tII pump have more pressure than the n/a? and if it is the fuel pump what kind of new pump should i get.. lets say off of ebay?
