Exclamation my first rx7

i have a 1986 rx7 gxl with the 13b engine and all the options except automatic.

1. does anybody know where i can find a short shifter at?
2. are there any tranny kits or trannys that would fit this model?
3. its been premodified with a msd ign. does that make it rev up when you start the car up.
4. the car been sitting for 2yrs. is there anything i should replace or check on before giving it alittle run down the street.
5. what are some good modifications i could start off with before i have to beef up the tranny, or drivetrain?
6. any other help will be very appreciative.

from CORNERS AT 90.

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

i just looked under the seat and found out the engine is newly rebuilt, the mileage says 110000 but the paper say rebuit at 100000.
this is awsome, i bought a pretty much new rx7 for $1200.

Talking try this 1st

the car should rev up to about 2k for a min then drop to idle... get a header, mid pipe. and catback highflow muffs. and cone filter...do that 1st, make sure your 5/6th ports are working, if you have them still there, then see how you like it
