My first FC
Well, I picked up my FC today. I had a friend with me, and he was in a 1993 Probe GT. On the highway, he stepped on it, and so did I. I kept up till around 105-110, but then he pulled really quick.... how come? I have been told there is a limiter around there. Is that true? How can I remove it? I don't normally go that fast, but i don't like the idea of having something like that limiting me. Thanks.

Nope.... cat-back... that's all he has done... maybe there is something wrong with my engine?! Eh, i will take a look at it some more... it pulls hella hard up to 100 or so... but then it doesn't really pull all that hard afterwards.

I thot GT's were turbo?
Plus, a stock NA runs 16's so keep that in mind...
but the accel just... dies? that would be a problem, prolly clogged cats on your part.

i think the turbo probes are gts's or gtps or somethign around there. Im going to agree with powrdby13b and say ur cats are prob clogged or ur 5 and 6 ports are locked up. I really dont know how that thing works. i have t2 4 port. but i assume they open later on or something. good luck

1993+ Probe GT's are 2.5L V6. The earlier versions are 2.0L Turbo. I still need to replace fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, and all the fluids....... car has like 150k miles on it and I don't think much has been replaced. But the motor has been rebuilt and only has 500 miles on it....

your going 110 with only 500 miles on a rebuid.. it shouldent be revved over 3-4k for the forst 1500-2000 miles(assming that u mean the fc has 500 miles not the probe)

if it only has 500 miles on a rebuild you should not be doggin it like that yet, you needa break in period like 1000-1500 miles. just my .02

Oh.... I will drive it nicer... eheh.
I was told by someone else that it is better to break it in hard. Eh, but, I mostly have to work now. I have a feeling that the 5th and 6th port aren't opening. I am going to take a look at that tomorrow sometime.
Thanks. I will try and keep it below 4k... but it is so hard.... .
