my engine must be toast by now
well i finally did it, i got all the replacement parts that were wrong with it in, and it still wont start, there is nothing else that is out of spec the fuel pump , sensors, spark plugs, ecu etc ... is the reason it might not start have to do with it sitting for a year and a half ? i just got the money to get the parts this summer and i would be very upset if the motor is ruined

The pulse test is very decieving.
Use a regular compression tester with the Schrader vale out of the bottom of the hose.Put the tester in and Crack the Throttle to Wide open and take a Compression test.
Your Numbers Cold will vary about 15 Psi or so.
PNOY,,try to do a Deflood on the engine to see if that is your problem.,
I would also check the Fuel line route,to see if that was screwed up when you threw it back together.,

well im going to go pick up the engine harness right now to see if thats also the problem , the fuel lines are the going the proper way , and if it is flooded how could it stay 1 year and a bit that way since i did crank it over without the fuse a few times during the year .
if it had an internal water leak and you parked the car with the coolant system full, you could very well have a brick for an engine now. water + metal parts = bad news. nice thing though is, you don't have to worry about parts falling off the rotors when you are taking everything apart!
