i have a 91 gxl and on my way home from school rolled my windows down and now sure enough my driver-side switch decided to fail. is there any way to over ride this with out removing the door panel? and if i do remove the panel, will my window stay up or will i have to make it stay up?

 

You can simply remove the switch panel and jump the wires. And even if you take the door panel off to accomplish this, the window will remain in whatever position you leave it without the door panel mounted.
