My dead boost gauge works again wtf?

ok so my 87TII hasn't had a working boost gauge since the day I bought it. I never really paid any attention to it since the other gauges worked fine, but recently they just went out. I went down under the wheel to check the fuses and sure enough the 7.5 meter fuse was out. Shortly after replacing the fuse, my gauges started working again even the boost gauge!.

I was happy for like 15 minutes, but suddenly the fuse went out again. after reaplacing it three times I knew I had a short somewhere. my car has no mods only two crappy speakers that were installed previously on the side door panels after removing them it continued to fry the fuses. As of now i'm running without VITAL gauges.

What's the best approach to this problem? is there a sequence for replacing the fuse? Can I put a higher voltage fuse? i'm really stumped on this one since everything else on my car works. somebody plz help.

There's a TON of stuff connected to that fuse. See when it likes to blow. My car had issues due to a faulty 5th gear/reverse switch.
