My damn interior and exterior rear lights don't work :(

Apparently I have a short or a loose ground somewhere because my gauge lights and rear lights do not work. Reverse lights work fine, break lights work fine but the normal red lights do not work at all. Dome lights dont work and my gauge illumination does not work. I'm gonna have fun tommorrow out there with a test light and voltmeter. Has this happenned to anyone and can you tell me where your loose ground was?

Well everyone of the lights you mention come from the light switch and the fuse to it.

They use different grounds in most cases, so it won't be a ground. However the tail lights do use the same ground as the reverse lights so if the reverse lights work, again it wouldn't be a ground

It will be either a bad switch, a blown fuse, a loose switch connection.

check your connection at the harness connectors. I had one back out. I though that the headlight switch was bad, then I thought the harness from the headlight switch to the main harness was bad, then I found out that one wire worked it's way from the "gang plug".

Good luck

There is not a relay on the parking light circuit. Only the head lamps

Looks like I'm gonna need a new switch and a new harness just to be safe. Enjoy the pics
BTW, Thanks for the help guys.

Does anyone have an extra switch and is willing to part with it?
