the starion IC works surprisingly well. however i was comparing it to a stock TII IC with no hood scoop

anyways, the hot side IC pipes are always pretty hot and the cold side IC pipes are always COLD. i can go out and ream on the highway for 20 minutes, come back and touch the coldside IC pipes to find them COLD just like the car hadnt even been started. good times

there is a SLIGHT amount of lag, but thats to be expected with all the extra piping. however i can still hit full boost by 3000 so its nothing very noticable.

nice DIY job...if I were you I'd get some sheetmetal and fabricate a radiator panel (covers the area where the overflow tank is in front of the rad) and another below the IC. This will help air go into the IC rather than under or around it. On hot days this will be a big help

the BOV is in the stock location, we just turned that 90* elbow around and used it so we didnt have to re-weld the BOV and stuff.

what did you use for the piping? I can't find anyone near me that really wants to mess with intercooler piping.

Yes they run directly over from the driver side instead of wrapping around the engine to the other side.

so the FMIC runs off the stock TMIC hoses?
So if I wanna do a FMIC can I just make piping to the front?

its the NA throttle cable. so we had to take the throttle pull off of the throttlebody and turn it around and weld it back onto the butterfly shaft. we also made a little bracket to hold the cable.

that piping looks a little scary the way it seems to run out from under the front bumper. looks like its just waiting for a pot hole to rip it self open.

You need shorter pipes. Shorter pipes = less lag.
