ok so heres the deal.. I got home today from work, and I opened up the filler cap, because of the bubbles it builds up some major pressure.. so I released it, and then tried to start it.. It fired!!! it ran for about 10-20 seconds and then puttered out.. I repeated the same steps again and it worked again, but stalled out.. and now it won't do it anymore..

Attached are the pics for the belts, and the bubbles..

I don't know what else I can do.. but the fact that it fired today tells me alot.... like that the spark plugs are good, the ignition and starter are all working.. which to me is like "THANK GOD!" lol...

If anyone has some ideas as to what else could be up with it let me know.. anything I can check would be great to know about..

You really should start another thread / new post.
This is called "threadjacking", and it's frowned upon.

Also, please check out the stickies, especially the one labeled FAQ for FC.
There's a lot of basic information, like the ones below.

It's an auxiliary port that opens up at around 5,500RPM on your engine.
It allows more air to enter the engine, allowing it to make more power at higher RPM's.

Higher redline is due to the lighter rotors...and Mazda wanting to brag that the new motor "made more power".

It sounds like you've got a coolant seal problem; possibly a fuel injector problem as well.

The non-starting is probably due to one of two things;

1) The injectors leak down and foul out the plugs as soon as you try to start the car.
2) The coolant is soaking the spark plugs and they won't spark right.

Did a big puff out of white smoke come out? Look for puddles of coolant on the ground and PRAY that it's just a leak somewhere.

Most of the time when the car's running hot and the coolant is full and the rest of the cooling system if fine then it's because of a blown coolant seal entering the combustion process.

Same thing happened to my first generation, just be happy you spent only $300 on it!

If you're getting white smoke then it's coolant, start saving for a rebuild!

Sorry guy, but it's the only way...

damnit... ok

When I started it today, the white smoke only came out the exhaust for a minute or so.. then it ran completely normal.. why is that?

You're burning off coolant for the first minute or so, then after that it's a slow enough drip where you won't notice it...

Yeah, seriously, because chances are the housings are warped which make them unusable...

We're not trying to fight off a fellow rotary head, but the money you're going to drop into these cars is STUPID CRAZY!
