for some reason my 87 rx-7 won't start
the battery isn't dead but it makes a noise like this


ggggGGGGGGggggggGGGGGGggggggGGGGGGgggggg <<<I think its the engine turning but it never starts,

"g"is just a letter not any certian sound,but think of it was a wave length,g=low G=differ sound ???


please help i need it to start bc i have to be in class by 6pm

 

It's flooded:
Open the hood.
In front of the driver side shock tower are the main fuses - pull the EGI fuse(s) to stop the fuel pump.
Hold wide open throttle & crank for half a minute.
Replace the fuse(s).
Hold wide open throttle and it should start.
If that fails, there is a more serious method - search with "flooded" or "unflooding".

 

Yes, I know fuel injected cars are not supposed to flood, but the RX-7 can if start it cold to just move it a few feet and shut it off cold.
