my car is up for grabs

well im sad to see it go but my bank account cant get any smaller than it is.

This thread is really 2 questions in one. 1 my car is seized and what is the chepest way to fix it?

2 I put my car on ebay and do you want to buy it?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ADME:B:LC:MT:1

Ok so this is the problem

I was coming home from the mechanic getting some exhaust work done. I stoped at a store and when i came out it wouldnt start. ive tryed all the tricks but i cant get the engine to turn over. people have told me it might be carbon locked but i cant be shure. to save myself more money that i dont have i have desided to sell it.

it would be a great car if only it would work.

damn it

It could just be flooded. Did you try any of the unflooding proceedures?

does the starter engage the flywheel? You should hear it hit the flywheel. If its carbon lock, you can rotate the main crank pulley counterclockwise, put some MMO in the intake, then slowly rotate the engine clockwise. Let it sit for a bit and try to start it. Make sure you unplug the spark plug wires so you can rotate the motor by hand without it accidently starting.

I'm sure he did. You can tell if an engine is seized or not just by putting it in gear and rocking it back and forth. If the belts turn then it isn't seized but if they don't then it is.

don't try this if you haven't but are the rear wheels actually locked? If you where to try and push start it would the rear wheels just lock up when you try to pop the clutch?
