Is my car dying?

I took my car to the mazda guy and he wouldn't even work on it because he said it's too far along. I have a flooding prblem and I know it's probably leaky injectors do I just sell the car the way it is or dig into it? I love the car but I can barely use it unless I plan on being somewhere for 2-4 hours untill the fuel evaporates. It idles and runs fine once it's started and flys like a bat out of hell. Thats why I love it. Rotary power yea!!!

Dive into it, leaky injectors arent the end of the world. Sounds like your mazda guy is a lazy ***.

Yea and its red just like yours cept not convertable. I,m gonna just install that bleed back thing first so I can drive or maybe I'll take out the check valve in the fuel pump. quick fixes Iknow but I'm not really a mechanic.

www.mazdatrix.com sells a little bleeder valve to deal with the problem (shodily)

Or you could get new injectors.

Cary a wrench the size of the fuel rail banjo bolt with you. If the car ever strands you: crack the bolt on the fuel rail and crank the car for a munute, it'll spray gas everywere unless you pull the fuel pump relay. But it will un-flood you.

That engine bay is a 'lil hacked up.

It's in the passanger side part of the engine bay towards the back (firewall) near the intake manifold. I don't have an FC, soo I'm just going off of memory here.

Track it down.

thats not the best way to unflood your car for the record...

do a search on unflooding, you can remove a fuse, and crank the car over for a few, then put the fuse back in and it will crank...

Yeah, spray fuel all over the engine. How idiotic is that? Geeez!
