my car dies after coolant change

ok sorry, it's riculously hard to search on my phone, so I have to resort to making a new thread, ill try to be as specific as possible, since I'm at a starbucks about an hour away from home with no money.. so a few days ago I changed my coolant for the first time (yay) and I premixed it myself and followed instructions from fellow members as best I could. so after I drained the coolant, I flushed it with hose water from the filler neck with the radiator plug off, after the I left it overnight to buy some distilled water for premix. the nezt day I mized about a 60percent of water and the rest coolant. so I put that in and shook the car to get air bubbles out, and I topped it off again. I start it up and no problems and no light or buzzer. so today I deive it to the next town to a job interview and the light and buzzer turns on and my idle gets shitty as hell, so I park in front of this starbucks and open the cap, and I see no coolant in the filler neck, nothing in the overflow bottle, what do I do? plz help me out asap I wanna go home ;(

fill the coolant up on the upper neck on top of the water pump housing make sure its topped off. run the car the coolant will either sink down. (add more coolant) or stay the same with just relasing some air.. after u see it rising and the bubbles are gone cap it and it should be good as for the car not running right after this. is anothwr issue unless you overheated it. check for leaks what part of the bay area are you in?

and also when ever doing a coolant change check it for the next few days and keep it topped off theres always a chance of air getting trapped
always check your coolant from the cap located on top of the water pump housing as it is the highest point.

im in oakland and i was deep in san leandro/hayward area.. i managed to get home but i don't understand why my idle turned to crap.. can someone explain this?

while i was waiting for my car to cool down i just in starbucks chilling out and when i went back out to check on my car, i opened the filler cap and saw nothing, so i topped it off again and started my car for about 30 seconds and it started to bubble and raise up, when i shut it off the level of coolant jumped off, just barely about to spill out.. i would shake it a bit and it stopped going down and spitting out bubbles like it used to, so i took a straw from starbucks and took some coolant out and capped it then drove off, driving home as fast as i could (it felt like a prison break)

maybe i flushed and refilled my coolant wrong? my car feels like **** lol but when i fill it up again it felt fine, but when i got about a 3rd of the way home, it started feeling like crap..

With engine off and cold, add coolant until full. Remove phillips headed screw near top radiator neck to let air escape - when coolant starts coming out, reinstall cap. Then, from cold, warm the engine up with the coolant cap off, and add coolant as it warms up. Then put the cap back on.

Look around and see if you've screwed with any sensor plugs or if you've wetted them, especially the one at the back of the water pump neck/thermostat area.
