I think the car looks good, cant wait to see it with the wheels on it. One question tho. If you went through all of that work and painting and putting the gp sports kit on then why leave the stock front bumper on it??

the front bumper didn't fit right actually the whole kit didn't fit right the only part that was a good fitment was the rear bumper. Other than that everything else was a pain in the ***. I just decided that I will keep the stock bumper on and put a front lip.

i didnt like the moldings either... I ripped them off mine as well, i think they look much better smooth. I went for the erebuni 11 kit. Nice choice of colors, wish I could get lucky enough to get a free paint job though.... Keep us posted

Thanks man. It was time consuming man. Making sure it was smooth. There are still some spots on the RX that could be better. Th ehood I am not happy with but for the shape it was in its a big improvement. It just the time it takes checking and rechecking.

did you just peel the molding off clean the surface and whatnot and just weld metal in there and just smoothed it out with bondo??

I used fiberglass mesh after I sanded the area to bare metal to cover the holes. The i used fiberglass filler and a thin layer of bondo. I applied fiberglass mesh to both sides of the metal. I undercoated the backside.

Painting it yourself?

Are you going to do the paint yourself? How long did it take to pull it apart down to the bare nitty gritty. I am working on my 91 as fast as money will allow and I think the only thing I couldn't do it the body work, everything else I have done with it is my own. But I am so scared I would f something like the painting up ... Plus since I am in michigan I have about 2 months of the year I could paint without the climate being just wrong. And since it took me 2 months just to do my work inside the engine bay and that was just the drivers side and some of the passenger side. I don't think I could handle a whole car.

I would post some pics but everything I have is 1600x1200 resolution and too large for forum.
