Unhappy my brake is stuck:\

my rx has been sitting in the driveway in the same spot for the past 5 months or so. i did finally get it started today and it seemed to be running fine. the thing is the brake is stuck. well it moves about an inch but not much at all. my mom hit it in the driveway (women drivers suck), and the driver's side front tire got flat when she did. could that have something to do with it? i read somewhere to check the tires and make sure they're properly inflated before you check the brakes for problems. i tried moving the car regardless of the brake but it was like the emergency brake was on. apparetnly the pedal is stuck down. can anyone help?

The brake rotors can rust & stick a little, but 1st gear will easily overcome that.

A slave piston can stick, but 1st gear will usually overcome that.

The hand brake cable can rust & stick and 1st gear may not overcome that. You have to put it up on jackstands & go under to check the hand brake cable to tell.

I discounted that since it's just about impossible.

I have seen one bizarre condition than can lock the brakes - a failed inside liner in the brake hose. The hose liner failed in such a way that it acted like a valve, holding the brakes clamped. I first thought the slave piston was stuck, but it backed off when I opened the bleed valve.

Sounds like the caliper pistons are seized. Jack the car up so that one end or the other is off the ground, release the parking brake (block the wheels at the end still on the ground), and try to spin each wheel by hand. They will spin, not spin, or drag. The ones that do not spin or drag are the problem.
