my brake pedals are decompressing all the way

so whenever i stop at a red light and im in a complete stop. im holding down the brakes (but not all the way, and without force) but i can slowly feel the brake pedals slowly moving down until to the point where the brake pedals are all the way down. does this mean i need new brake pads? rotors? or just some brake fluids? please advise. thanks

check the brake fluid resivour(sp?) for fluid...if there isnt any then you might need a new master cylinder

also check haynes manual...it should have alot of suggestions for replacement and checking it
