my beloved rex is down
I have a 87 SE acting flooded. I've tried the unflood procedures and get nothing.
I have spark and gas. I have the rotors soaking in ATF tonight, but just in case that doesn't fix my problem does anyone have some more suggestions.
The engine rotates, but won't fire up.
It worked fine yesterday morning, but after sitting for 3 1/2 hours it wouldn't start.
Thanks in advance.

I have a 87 Turbo that doesn't start from time to time. It's not the flooding problem, it has that too, there is no smell of gas.
It always pop starts. If you have a hill give it a try.

This was just bad compression. It was time for ATF. It started like a champ and blasted around the freeway smelling like a refinery fire. I came home and put in new plugs now it runs like new.
I can't tell if it really pulls better than before or if my senses have been dulled by driving the old 1993 Talon DL for two days.
The oil was only 2500 miles old, but I'm changing it now just in case gunk in it caused the seal problems.
