Also, where'd you buy it? thanks

dDuB,

I think you're right about the bumper type. Sorry, can't give you more details - got it with the car.

BTW, it is Japanese import (grey import) to Australia. It is Infiny model - has round back lights but I'm not 100% sure that it is S5 because year of manufacture is 1988. Only 86,000 km (53,000 miles) verified on the clock. Lots of mods. It can blow away pretty much anything and eats any corner at any speed :-)

950 kg is roughly 2600 lbs, give or take the love handles rubbing on the seat bolsters. Multiply by 2.3, not divide. Nice car, though.

if it was manufactured in 88, i believe that makes it an Infini III. Im also pretty sure that the S5 infinis had standard S5 round tail lights, nothing special about them.

Ahhh .... I was never good with the Imerial measurement system :-( Thanks for correcting me :-)

Tail lights ... I thought all S5 have the same??? When on, actual lights are round. Anyone out there to substantiate on the lights?

Hey, apologies for my broad claim about blowing away pretty much anything ... I should have been more specific. I had a few street light 'races' so far taken WRX Imprezas and a Skyline (not exactly sure which model, could be R32).
I was referring more to actual driving capability of the car - lightweight (HP/kg), handling, stopping distance (it's freaky short), etc. That's where RX7 is outstanding, especially Infini.

huh? I don't think so. Looks like an S5 to me. Even if Ifinis did have S5 tails, this car also has the S5 Side moulding and its very unlikely that an R Magic front bumper was modified to fit an S4. Looks like an S5 to me on all counts.
