My s5 pops the headlights up and flashes the lights (staying popped up). It has gone off once or twice by itself, but will only turn off with the key in the door. It doesn't arm unless the door handle is held when locking, and doesn't arm with the key, and light flashes once every 3 seconds or so when armed. Doesn't seem to an aftermarket system at all... are you sure the lights don't pop up??

Also: If you're using the stock alarm system and you are leaving the windows/sunroof open the wind can actually trip those damn glass break sensors.

Trust me

also my question now is. why is my alarm still going off even though i lock the doors from the outside? is it because im locking the car from the passenger side?

Glass sensors are only on 10thAEs.

Not on any other models

okay I checked... the Headlights do pop up and flash on a S5 (another Lame S5 thing I guess), but the indicator is still Orange not red... which suggests that xUnKnOwNx still has an aftermarket system.

the stock system:

Next time

The next time mine goes off I will try to have the presence of mind to video tape it and what we do to stop it, however....When you are up to your *** in alligators it is oft times difficult to remember that your initial objective was to drain the swamp.

I have a 88' rx7 vert and my alarm goes off even if I don't arm it. if I just lock the doors the system doesn't engage, but then any where from 10min to 3 hours later it will go off. it worked about 2 mounths ago but now it doesn't. any one know why?
