It had been working, but sometimes you needed to hit the switch maybe 2-3 times for it to work. Now nothing. Would the whole switch need replacing or maybe just a cleaning of the conections? I have had amny RX-7's with PW, but the first problem here.
Thanks much!

Do not buy a new switch. That is a waste of money. Neither of my windows worked when i got the car. All you have to do is pop out the switch with a screw driver, unplug it, and take it apart.(be careful as there a a few small peices that i almost lost in the door). Then clean the contacts with an eraser or fine grit sand paper. When you are done they should work like new .

We're assuming you don't have the safety rolldown switch enabled correct?

I almost thought I'd broken the window once because of that.

Yeah...what red2ndgen said! I'll add that the passenger window depends on the drives side switch to get it's power so i'd do the drivers side switch first and then see if the passenger side works...then clean the passenger side if needed.

you didnt say which switch wasnt working. if both of them arent working then its the motor. If one works and the other doesnt. open the switch that isnt working and just clean the contacts.
