My 7 is stick, gettin an auto motor for a parts-what wont becompatable?

My 7 is stick, gettin an auto motor for a parts-what wont becompatable?

Besides the tranny, what wont I be able to use for my car? its a 86-88 motor, i dont know what model, my buddy just said he'll sell it for $100 bucks for hte motor and tranny-I need an air pump, thermostat and other stupid things so Im not gonna pass this deal up-oh and the motor runs

Not totally sure, but I think the front counterweight is different, cuz the difference in rotational weight of the flywheel and related assembly.

By the way, i just threw away 3 air pumps.

Are you just gonna leave the motor sitting around till you get another body or are you gonna rebuild and make it powerful since youre rebuild is pretty new.

I might be wrong but the front counter weight is the same, just the flywheel. Aftermarket flywheels use a counterweight from an automatic and it has to match the weight of the front counter weight. What I'm trying to say is keep the rear counter weight and buy an aftermarket flywheel.
