1. The stock ECU is very limited, and while people have had some success running it in the FC, an aftermarket ECU is worlds better.

2. I have never figured out why people would go through all the trouble of the 20B and still use the stock twins. :) But I guess it's a personal thing.

same goes with me about people that put turbos on na's

so you turn up the HP on na and the drive train cant take it.

I'm back

Hey everybody I'm back after several years offline. Some of you know I was depoyed to Iraq for a year and then had to move to Alaska. I finished my 3 rotor convertible project and had to sell it before I moved to Alaska (yes I cried). Anyway I'm back in the lower 48 now and I just bought a very clean and completely stock 91 vert. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, probably nothing right now, but I'm sure I will have the need for MORE POWER pretty soon.

Good to be back and hope to read up on some new threads.

wow this thread is old. what a great project. too bad you had to get rid of it.

Really old thread, but I guess a late reply is better then none...

Yeah, the NA drivetrain is just so bloody weak. Mine's be holding over 400HP for two years and has just now developed a slight whine in the transmission...

EDIT: Err, just noticed that this thread was really old and everything was done, so deleted my post!
