So after a year of crying over a tree falling on my mint 1st gen. i get this turbo II with a rebuilt FD 35k miles on it and upgraded turbo.. etc..

i set it to 17 psi ... gauge peaked at 1.4 so i figured that was around the psi running.

the gocart track here has a 1/4 strip and i tested my 0-60 and ...

1st run 3.4 secs
2nd run 3.9
3rd run 3.3

VERY surprised and my front diff mount is broke. So i couldnt even slam it into 2nd hard in fear of breaking it. very happy with my purchase.

 

Those times are pretty crazy, are you sure that they are correct? What are your mods, wieght reduction, gearing, any pics?

 

Damn, those are some good times. What kind of 'upgraded turbo' do you have?

 

it has a lighter drive shaft, and i know some mods have been done to remove weight but not much. its just when i set the boost to kick in ASAP with the in car boost adjustor.. raise it to 75% boost. Has the highest stage racing beat clutch setup. Its a rocket. Top speed i took it to is 160, owner before me has taken it to 195 and I am waiting for him to email the video of it from in car view.


I still have TONS of receipts to go through for all the motor and turbo etc etc work so i know really exactly what works been done.

ya in the parts for sale because im selling off everything, damn engine, weber, every but the bent roof is mint. Waiting for approval on the post... they are getting super strict on posting stuff for sale.

 

Good times, the car must really hook. You're running a T3/T4? Specs on the turbo?

 

i just checked the papers. its a s5 turbo and s5 exhaust manifold

 

It must be a BNR stage 3 or 4 to get that kind of hp.

0-60 times are completely useless. Take it to a track (or a dyno) and get some numbers that matter.

 

Amazing, you car is just as fast as a Ferrari Enzo to 60.
