PA Mutilated wiring problem

Hello,
I have a '88 Vert, and the previous owner completely destroyed any and all wiring for the stereo and speakers up front, and the headrest speakers are not plugged in.
I searched and realize there is, suppposed to be, a stock ampplifier for the headrest speakers seperate but I think the previous owner took it out. Here is a picture of what I am looking at back in the spare tire/underneath top area; Is this where the amplifier usually resides? And should I be able to just get another stock amplifier and plug her in (and fix the harness)?

There are RCAs in there as well, but I can't seem to figure out where they are coming from.. I am just trying to get the headrest speakers functioning (and the center console controls).

Thanks

honestly you would get a bigger bang for your money if you went ahead and purchased an aftermarket system and rewired everything.

I am trying to retain usage of the headrest speakers with center console controls, everything else I have figured out (aftermarket). I already intend on swapping out the dash 4" speakers, swapping to S5 door panels w/ 6" speakers and 1" tweeters, already have new deck and mono amp w/ 10" sub, and I am going to get a 4 channel amp.. its just the headrest speakers and the amp that I can't seem to trace some of the wires thanks to the hackjob of the last owner.

There are a zillion threads but none seem to help much, as most of them are old and the links/pictures are dead/expired.

I have been searching for a while for a S4 (88) 'vert wiring diagram, but can't seem to pull one up. I have found a few for S5 but they seem to be a little different (with added rear speakers and an extra amp or two) and/or not specific enough.
