Muffler Silencer Really Work?

My exhaust rules, but for the ladies....I want somethin a little quiter. Since it will be a year or two before I buy a Miata, I need to be able to soften the harsh roar or my wicked exhaust. Anyone use the Apex unit for their N1?

I have a Silencer in my N1. It makes a big difference. The exhaust will still have a deep tone but it will not get extremely loud when u floor it... Great thing to have if you have any problems with local law enforcement

probably baby flames. or maybe it might shoot out longer flames because of there being more pressure comin out of the tailpipe

Anything that increases backpressure will reduce noise. Just don't forget it will have the same effect on power!
