Muahaha another N/A -> T2 question.. kinda

Ok, my cars currently dead, bad coolent seals and the tranny likes to grind a few of its gears, and occansionaly refuses to shift out of reverse so im just looking at all my options for my 87 n/a

Ive been quoted for 1500 + shipping for a rebuilt 87 n/a
It would be long block, and that includes core, so i could sell my engine for parts, but i would still have to scew with the tranny

I could risk it all, spend 400 on a rebuild kit and few 100 more on tools and do it my self, but i have no garage or shed, im a college student living out of home and the mother wouldnt like me carrying greesy mazda parts around

and then thers everyones dream, having turbos!
I was looking at fc3s.org's jspec imports and was astonished by the prices, i could get a 87T2 engine for 900, and a tranny for less then 350. As i read, there in long block but theres nothing that says ALL the extra's will be there. But lets say that the engine and tranny comes with just about everying thats bolted to them, ill just have to get the harneses, boost sensor, fuel pump, drive shaft and rearend

What else would be hard to do?, i would need a new hood, or at lest mod the crap out of it, ive read like 20 threads and they still dont have me convinced that i Shouldnt do this

Please, talk me out of this if its a bad road

i had all the same problems...I solved all of 'em for 1500 dollars. I bought a crashed MINT condition rx7. Strip it and swap it all. unfortunately my swap was N/A to N/A but how hard could it be to just take everything from a turbo and swap over
