MSD Boost Retarder

My car is going to be pushing 14 psi on a 60-1 Hi-Fi Turbo.
I have enough fuel and I will be running a boost controlled alcohol/water injection setup. This will help with keeping the intake charge as cool as possible with the stock intercooler, as well as giving the effects of additional fuel.

I am going to use spark plugs with a cooler heat rating, but I am pretty sure I will need some boost spark retard. I have seen the MSD unit that will plug into my MSD 6A, is this a good idea? I guess another option is ditch the stock computer controled ignition setup and run a distibutor from a 12A turbo that has boost retard inputs. Or, I could go wit an APEX ITC, but this costs $300 as opposed to $150 or less for an MSD unit.

So my question is, what is the best ignition setup for cheap that will keep the spark at the best place.

the msd and apexi unit will only retard the leading plugs. your best bet short of a standalone would be to go to a ecu chip which will get rid of fuel cut and retard your timming at higher boost.
