msd 6al which wire do i snip?
The instructions say I have to snip some wires depending on if it is 4,6, or eight cylinder. what do i do for a 13b? Im guessing its just set to 4cyl. but im not sure and dont want to snip the wrong wires.

ok i got it working, and i removed the trailing coil so the rev limiter would work but now the tach doesn't work any idea which wire i need to run to the tack output of the msd
Ok...yes...the rev limit will work will the trailing removed...but the trailing is a good system to have working. Even with the trailing hooked up, when you hit your chosen pill rpm, you will definitely feel powerloss, since the leading is cutting....shift!
I have never gotten a stock tack to run off the MSD box...you will probably need some sort of resistor....contact MSD, seach the forum, or run an Autometer hooked directly to the box...

i hooked it up to the yellow wire and it seems to be working just fine. As far as leaving th trailing coil in, I tried to revving it to see if it would cut out and it didnt really cut out. I should probably try it under load.
Testing it it feels like the car is running smoother and revving more freely.

I don't know why you're doing all of this.
Your profile says you have a Turbo II.
Why do you feel the need to mess / change the stock rev limit?
Is your engine built to handle the higher revs?
Does the engine make power at higher revs?
Removing the trailings coils is a stupid idea, period.
