Question Mr. Gasket Spring Spacer

Has anyone ever used one of these Mr. Gasket spring spacers?

I'm showing part 1285 because it shows more info, but 1287 is the same, but with a U-shape around the circumference and goes at the top or bottom of the spring. It looks like it would be a good solution for people who want to run aftermarket springs without dropping the car much. I think the top of the stock front springs would fit in the grove. I'm not sure what one would do about the rear springs.

Thoughts?

I don't see why you couldn't. I think they may squeak though, even after being greased.
