Moving On.........

I have made the decision to sell my 1st and 2nd gen's. I'm sorry I just crave power! But my rotary blood runs deeper than the sea, so a 3rd gen is in store for me. Hopefully by early to mid summer I'll be able to afford it. Sucks cause they are the cheapest in the winter. And I'm not exactly in the greatest area either. Just wondering if any othere members moving down the line of performance? (not including you modded TII guys that would dust the **** off a 3rd gen.) But you have to admit 3rd gen.'s are incredible cars.
happy rotoring

I must admit, 3rd gens are awesome! I rode in one for the first time on Wednesday, and it was breath taking! 300-310 rear wheel horsepower in a tiny little car is simply incredible! Have fun, and enjoy your third gen! I am still too in love with the 2nd gen right now to move on, but hey, who knows what the future brings!!!! Good Luck!

The moment I looked under the hood of an FD and couldn't see the ground, I lost interest. I don't fell like making every little task of working on the car an ordeal because there is no damn room....

i couldn't even get to the sparkplugs in my FD. diagnozing why the 2nd turbo would not hold boost was nigh impossible!

despite how difficult they are to work on, u have to admit they are ******* awesome.....

you'll get more chicks in an FD! Have fun...

I too will have an FD some day, but I will keep my Turbo II for sure. I'd say 60% of the FD owners I know had a 2nd gen before or still have one. I probably would get more chicks with an FD but I have already had some girls flash me while I am driving my FC, too cool.

I figured on owning one of each generation at some time, but after an '84 GSLSE and a '90 vert, I decided to avoid the 3rd gen and wait for the RX-8. The FD's I've driven and ridden in were awesome cars, but I'm not overly mechanically inclined and I didn't want to have to tow the thing 250 (minimum) miles to the nearest competant shop every time something went wrong.
