movin on up

hey there...
I'm usaly a 1st gen forum user but ive jumped on to ur bit of web space to ask a few questions about a 2nd gen..

I currently have a S1 rx7, which ive had for 2 years now (1 year was rebuilding it).. but as its an old car and it aint the most reliable thing (im usaly the cause of most things going wrong, cus im always playing with it)

so im thinking its time to sell and get a newer car, and this time i want (need) a turbo. so my few options in my price range would be a S4 TII or a nissan 180sx(sr20)

enuf about my life story, what i want to know is how relable are the s4's? do they over heat? what usaly goes wrong with em? what to look out for?

Thanks Heaps
Mick

Now i see why your so keen to check out my new car!!

Might be worthwile considering adding a S3 with a 13bt already in it to your list..

Theres been a fair few in the trading post lately around the 8k mark.
The s3 are so different a car to start with, compared to the S1. Even with a std 13bt in them they fly better that many modded S4's.

If i didn't have the trouble with my wrist i would of stuck with the S3 hands down (no pun intended)

and because its convertable with leather seats

i know the s3 with a 13bt will be heaps faster thanks to the less 300kg to start with. and i'll definatly add it to my shopping list and try and drive one thats for sale.

but i dunno if i want something that modified to start with.

hmm to many decicions, but first i gota get all the bugs outa my car which will take me a while still.
