Mounting stock intercooler in front?

Anyone mounted their stock mount T2 intercooler in the front? Got pics?

Iive got just about everything I need to convert my vert to turbo. I wanted to use the stock intercooler for now just to to save on initial cost.

If anyone has done this Pics and/or instructions would be apreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

You dont really need pics or anything. Just make some templates out of cardboard, have a machine shop cut some steel mounts and drill them (or do it yourself), you can buy prebent mandrel corners at jegs and ****. Cut hose to length, use silicon or rubber connectors to join the pipes. Done.

Stock (sized) turbos do not like all the extra hoses it has to fill.&nbsp Sure, it's better, but it also increases lag and decreases boost.

Good point. I hadn't thought of that. But this is mainly to save on initial cost just to get this thing going. I will upgrade both turbo and intercooler in the future. So I guess I can deal with the lag and possably turn the boost up a little to compensate on the pressure drop. Plus I will be running a much better exhaust then stock so hopefully this will counter the lag a little.

Thanks for the input.
