Those that leave feedback without testing the item first are ******* morons, like yourself. You wouldnt make a statement like that unless you yourself left feedback without checking out the product. Not everyone is a ******* idiot.

What the feedback proves, is that 98% of his customers were HAPPY with what they got. Why did you buy the SSAC cat back? Dont you know how to read, or use the search? If you did you would have know that it tapered BEFORE you bought it... Practice what you preach dumbass.

Anyhow, anyone have experience with this exhaust?

I have 100% feedback on ebay. Does that mean i'm better than them?

Try doing a search on the forum.

You can't revisit ebay feedback after a certain time which means that any longevity issues or any issues at all after say 3-6 months are unreported to ebay.

Try thinking about what you're saying. BTW IIRC personal insults are against forum rules. I'd appreciate it if you don't make homosexual references to me or other insults. I'm not trying to insult you i'm just telling you what I know through experience. You apparantly have no experience and just want to be force fed some numbers and feel good that you're skimping out on something.

Where the **** in the midwest are you? I'de like to meet you for talking like that.

I have perfect feedback and I'de never buy an exhaust off it. I know how to leave feedback dipshit.

What do THEY know about quality parts anyways? Alot of e-bays are ricers looking for the lowest costs (ebay CAI anyone). I NEVER have purchased an SSAC product, but I did put it on for a friend.

I think you need to take a walk or grow up.

People like you seem to be the same. Arguing without any knowledge of anything.

I research everything I buy and never waste my time with a possibly faulty product. So **** off.

I have the ssautochrome turbo back exhaust system on my 88' turbo II. The facts? well it doesn't taper at the bends at all, with one exception that is at the bottom end of the downpipe it shrinks down to like 2.75" then goes thru the presilencer and at the end of that goes back to 3" (even 2.75" is way bigger than the factory exhaust, not to mention being straight thru). imo, it is a very good sounding exhaust, kind of loud but the car has a turbo which creates a silencing effect, and the exhaust came with a silencer to put in the tip that made it quite a bit quiter but did take a little bit of power. besides its just pipes, aint much quality in it besides like the welds and the bends which both seem fine and have held up (untill my engine blew). a lot of people commented how a great it sounds. i like it, and somewhat back it up. well rb is nice as well, i think you pay more for the fact that it is quiet, but it is also a lot heavier than the ssac. oh yeah, and way way way more power. it was like from my leaking factory clogged cats exhaust too the new ssac was a big increase. i'd probably estimate 210 hp with a boost cut defense. fcd.

Jager, I live in Salina,KS - Come here and I will teach you a lesson... I would suggest you just shut the **** up too... anyhow

You say I ame arguing without any knowledge... Well, All i asked for was some PROOF that this exhaust was of lesser quality than the RB exhaust. You have NOT shown me ANY proof that this exhaust is crap. Or that SSAC has a bad review. For someodd reason, I think 98% is pretty good. But what do i know, right? So, you idiots are right, The SSAC exhaust is no good because... Because... Well, because its not Racing Beat. Thats the only FACT that has been stated.

You both are fools. And 1987RX7guy, dont be ashamed of your sexuality. I dont think any differently because you like weiner.

And in a few other locations !

I love the "and exceptions".

I don't support it, but I don't pitty anyone that chooses it. Different strokes for different folks. I'm happy you're satisfied !

Teach me a lesson? LOL. Wow, take a walk.

But anyways, I never said ti sucks. You want proof? Bad reviews are about all you can get. I don;t use all RB products (check the sig). I just said what it had problems with.

Why would I be a fool? I just told you my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with the exhaust. I didn't say it was bad or anything, just it tapered (and others can back me up on this as well).

You need to grow up.

WOW, an ACTUAL review by someone that has used the product. Thank you, I apreciate that. So, overall do you think the SSAC is worth the money, or should I save up and get the RB? Do you have any sound clips of the exhaust before you blew your motor? Thanks!

You've yet to search as you haven't found the information about SSAC's turbo manifolds cracking after some use and having shotty welds. You haven't seen the autopower(sp?) turbo kits where the compressor housing was held on by epoxie. The false claims that the exhaust is X.XX OD/ID when it actually tapered down at the flanges. Their high flow cats being shotty. Plenty of people have first hand experience with such companies' bad quality products.

You need to take yourself outside and breath because you're just raging about stuff you have no clue about.

The quality of build is easily noted on any RB product once you see it for yourself and in your own hands. Find someone close to you that owns RB and you will see it first hand. Other companies like Borla, Apex'i, HKS, Greddy, and Cork sport have much better quality and reputations than SSAC.

ALSO to help you out. Since you don't seem to be internet savy, go to the group buy section and check it out videos of the single and dual exhaust. Search for reviews yo.

You won't find anything but anyone's opinion. Its a matter of preference.

I have the SSAC exhaust and love it. I went a 3 hour road trip with no stereo and it sisn't bother me a bit. I got mine 345 shipped and recived it in week.ya it does taper in spots but so does the Corksport exhaust

"The all new Cork Sport 'Power Series' Cat-back exhaust system is constructed of 80mm (appx. 3 1/8") tubing, mandrel bent for maximum flow design. The single exit (driver side) also helps drop substantial weight from the vehicle (appx. 40lb drop in weight from stock). This system's flange tapers down to 2.5" to bolt to the stock cat. converter."

My HP goals arn't that high so I'm not to worried about the flow. If I had 600 dollars to spend on a full exhaust I might.

You actually can buy ons of **** from Corksport that tapers.

But you CAN buy a 80mm all around exhaust also. Its why its seems to be listed twice on their website.

I never bashed the exhaust itself, I wouldn't use it though. I just said it tapers (which it does as said before) and I *heard* the presilencer with it is subpar. But then again, nothing a Borla couldn't fit.

Like Jager said, we sell two.

All of our exhaust parts have two versions, one that tapers to 2.5" and one that is full 80mm. So if someone wants to buy a dwonpipe and catback, but wants to keep their stock system, they can do so. But if someone wants to go full 80mm, or has an existing 80mm catback and wants just the downpipe and midpipe to be 80mm they can also do that.

Options rule!

******* idiots, SSAC ROCKS!!!
i was very pleased with mine, i bought mine for only $200, which leaves me what like $500-600 dollars difference from the racing beat, that means i can afford a XR-1 or whatever, presilencer to weld in place of the tapered pipe. it is almost useless to mention it tapers, if it didn't i would guess you would have 2.5 more horsepower, wtf. it is however only 3" where as the corksport is 3 1/8", so there may be some power difference there, but if your only like for a 50 horsepower gain and not a 52.5? horsepower gain then spend all the rest of your capitalist ******* money you ******* yuppies. it just seems the reasoning and thought process used in this thread was that of some ****. it isn't crap.

jager, what the **** is "and exceptions" supposed to mean? and it does only taper in that one place by the presilencer dumb ****.

Interesting. So far, everyone that has actually USED this exhaust really likes it. Wierd!!!

1987RX7guy your looking like a bigger fool by the minute. You just dont understand do you?
I want first hand reviews of this exhaust. You obviously are 100% clueless about SSAC products.

If i wanted first hand information from you, I would ask you "how many dicks have you got to fit in your mouth at one time?" But im not interested in that kind of **** so there is no reason for our conversation to continue.

alright first off jackhole i wasn't talking to you... you're not the thread starter. the thread starter said he has a S5 ---->NA<---- you want opinions on stuff for your car start your own thread and be an ******* in there

secondly stop being a douche to everyone who offers their opinion because you know what? it's a forum and the line between fact and opinion gets blurry sometimes in here, and besides being rude and insulting people is not gonna get you your way

lastly facts have been stated you tard... there are reductions in diameter at at least one bend, which causes turbulence and change in gas velocity, albeit a minor hinderance and people have had problems with the welds

does someone need to break a freakin cat back over your rock hard noggin to prove to you it's an inferior product?

ok the only thing i have to say is the people trying to back SSAC are the only ones being rude. also most people that buy apc and other products from pepboys are very happy with their purchases. that doesnt mean that they are good products they also are the people that dont care about numbers they just want their car to be cooler. dont always trust people that say stuff about they product they buy.

i like racing beat, because i do believe they test their products on the track and check the numbers. if the numbers arent good they scrap the part and build another one. i think i read that on their site.

also the people on this forum have been doing this for awhile. not all of they are right about what they say, but you will find out that most of them know what they are talking about. i have gotten so much help from this forum and it wasnt by being an ******* to everyone that doesnt say what you want them to say. ignore them and move on. if you dont like the kind of people on this forum then you arent an rx7 guy. we are all this way. a certain kind of person owns an rx7 and thats what we are. get over and buy a honda if you want to buy cheap parts that dont produce good numbers.

You really cant blame the ppl backin SSAC for being kinda rough because as soon as you mention the name all the haters jump in and start knocking the products. Usually when someone stands up for SSAC, guys on here start callin them stupid kids when really that has nothing to do with it. Obviously the exhaust is a quality piece especially for the price. I havent seen anyone actually unsatisfied with the exhaust. Some say its too loud, well you should know that before buying it, it is a real straight through exhaust system. Yes we have all seen that pic of the turbo that was glued together but there are a few ppl on here running the turbo and manifold setups on there cars with a little modifications. I just dont understand the hatered for SSAC parts.

Umm I am willing to bet that the SSAC exhaust will produce just as much if not more hp than any leading aftermarket exaust for our cars.
