Motor not starting!!!!Help

Exclamation Motor not starting!!!!Help

I tried to start my 86 non turbo and it ran fine earlier that day
when i tried to start it it cranked normal then something happened
and it started to crank like the battery died but i tried for 20 minutes and even the next day and nothing
- I tried starter fluid

-cleaned the plugs after a 2hour fight to get'em out

-fulltank of gas

still nothing anyone had this happen?

ex: of sound

crank crank crank crank crank_hissss_naaaaanaaaaanaaaanaaaa like it lost all power in an instant, no compression ?, i dont know

please help i have much time and money invested in the customizing of this car
i am desperate.

Is the starter providing a consistant crank? Try checking the battery and doing a load test. BTW, why/how did it take 2 hours to get the spark plugs out?

the battery is good i even did a jump from my truck
the spark plugs were a bihatch becaaause i cant get my arm
down into the space inbetween the strut towers and the compressor
i am a big guy
what exactly is deflooding,more importantly how do i do it?


it started and i cut it off to test my dyno mat and later i went to leave and then it cranked and strted to crank in a strange way but never fired.

floor the throttle while starting it. if that doesn't work, pull the leading plugs out (lower) and pull the egi fuse...crank it iver a few times, you'll see fuel misting out of the engine. once it stops misting, put the plugs back in and start the bitch up...
