Motor Mounts!

So i changed my oil pan gasket today and while i was in there i was goint to install polyurethane engine mounts, but the nut wouldnt come off a piece of the engine mount, i feel like a noob for not being more sepecific but can anyone tell me how to change the motor mounts?

You should be able to take the engine mount off the engine and cut the bolt.

if the top half of the mount is spinning then insert a screwdriver into one of the 3 windows to give you leverage to keep it from spinning the hat portion. if it is the bottom half then you will need some large channel locks to grip it while you loosen the bottom nut.

if the stud is spinning through the hat then you will need to take the whole mount back off the engine and put the rubber portion into a vice somehow.

wow i feel smart, i didnt realize you had to remove the metal disks along with the motor mount to replace them
