Question motor mounts

OK.......I just rebulit my 86 NA. I'm almost ready to put it back in. I was wondering if its better to attach the motor mounts to the engine first or to the the engine bay. Or maybe it doesn't matter. I don't want to have to unbolt them from the motor, after its hanging in the engine bay, if they need to be attached to the engine bay first.

Attach them before you install. Hell, I install everything I can and drop the long block in! Then its a few wires and hoses here and there and then Zoom Zoom Zoom!

No she is asking if you attach them to the engine or the bay not if you attach them later. I think it would be easier to put them in the engine bay first then drop the block on them and bolt it up.

Bolt the mounts to the frame then drop the engine in. At least, this is how Mariah Motorsports taught me.

Put the engine in place, then install the mounts. By far, this is the easiest way to install the engine. Especially if you are trying to mount it to the transmission at the same time.
